Family Guest House, Fire Dragon Hideaway, is nestled amongst giant coconut palms and bamboo trees in the beautiful countryside of Katana, Negombo, Fire Dragon Hideaway is a private and secluded family guest house with a swimming pool and animal cafe.
We combine animal rescue with our home from home family guest house. Spend time with our healthy cats and dogs and enjoy the company and healing power of unconditional love. In the early morning you can enjoy the hypnotic sounds of birds and the evening sounds will transport you to the middle of the jungle.

Our small property can offer shared accommodation for up to 17 people. Set in mature gardens, with a pool, and restaurant, we also offer yoga, Shiatsu massage, Meditation sessions, Reiki & Personal Coaching on request. You have everything you could want for a quiet escape. We also work with Jasmin Villa Ayurvedic Centre and just 10 mins away by car or tuk tuk you have access to a host of massage and beauty treatments.
Offering bed and breakfast accommodation as standard, we also have a dinner menu. Our cosy rooms offer you privacy and quiet, with all the modern comforts of home – WIFI, hot water, air-conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player and an outdoor balcony to sit and relax in nature.
We offer free drinking water, filter coffee and tea onsite at all times.
In the garden we have a friendly snake, lizards, birds, frogs, crickets, and of course our rescue cats and dogs.
Please be aware that our animals roam free on the property. If you don’t LOVE animals please select an alternative accommodation option!

The property is just a 20 minute drive from Colombo International airport and we can arrange a transfer for you on request.
We’re also just 15 mins by car or tuk tuk from Nawaloka Hospital, which offers a range of comprehensive health check ups starting from less than $200 USD.
